Letter, 1945 June 26.

Frank Beresford answers the letter of a family friend, sending her information about his current life and work. The artist is busy "painting records of the war for posterity." He explains that he has spent five years as a war correspondent with the air forces of various countries, among which he mentions the British R.A.F., and, during the last two years, with the U.S. Air Forces, namely with "their famous Eagle Squadrons." Beresford includes the notice of an exhibition she may want to see, and thinks that the press "have covered it pretty well."
